YouTuber Gaurav Taneja, popularly known as Flying Beast, and his wife Ritu Rathee, captain on Airbus A320, have been navigating a tumultuous phase in their marriage. Amid rumours of their divorce after Taneja “cheated” on his wife Rathee, the couple attended Durga Puja together with their daughter. The YouTuber shared pictures of the same on his Instagram.

While sharing a series of pictures, he wrote, “Durga Pooja celebration!” One of the pictures shows him with his daughter Kiara. Another shows Rathee, Taneja and Kiara posing for a selfie. There’s also a picture of Rathee striking a pose with their daughter Kiara.

Their separation rumours began when a video of a woman seeking guidance from spiritual guru Premanand Govind Sharan at “Bhajan Marg” went viral on social media and fans identified her as Rathee. In the video, she expressed concerns about infidelity and custody of their two daughters, Kiara and Pihu. While both Taneja and Rathee admitted that all is not well, they urged for privacy from fans in separate Instagram posts.

After the video of Rathee admitting to living separately surfaced online, Taneja shared a post with the phrase, “Joi Joi pyaaro kare, soi mohe bhave”, which translates to: “Those who love me, I love in return.”
“I will remain quiet for my kids and the mother of my child. Ready to live with all the negativity and hate for my entire life. Please don’t expect any public explanation,” the 38-year-old YouTuber wrote on Instagram.

He urged people to “stop making assumptions”, adding, “Men are made villains very fast. We don’t cry, we talk less and express less. Some of us are hardwired like that.”

Ritu Rathee in an Instagram video offered a reality check on her divorce from Taneja. She acknowledged that she was the woman in the viral video but denied being wronged by her husband.
“…the same man during these eight years made me equally capable that I can nurture my children alone. How many men in India have made their wives equally capable?” a visibly emotional Rathee asked.

She went on to say, “There are many things that can sting between a husband and wife. Something must have happened. It hurt him this time, and it hurt me too. He thought he was right, and I thought I was right. He became stubborn, and so did I.”
“But does that mean that you will tell me what kind of a man he was?” Rathee asked.
The captain added, “There are very few people who deserve respect. I know that man inside out. I don’t need to hear about his principles from you. I don’t need to hear from you whether he is genuine, whether he was loyal. I have seen him go through every situation.”
