Teenager's Hunger Strike For iPhone Leaves Father In Tears, Internet Is Not Happy

Recently, a Reddit user shared about their 19-year-old cousin, who demanded an iPhone and even went on a hunger strike until her parents gave in. In the Reddit post, the user further shared that the parents of their 19-year-old cousin agreed to buying the phone after she refused to eat for two days. However, when the parents explained that they couldn’t purchase the phone immediately due to a bank holiday, her behaviour only escalated. The situation took an emotional toll on the family, with the user’s uncle breaking down in tears as he struggled to gather funds. Eventually, the father managed to get the money and then they headed out to buy an iPhone.

“My cousin(19f) is not eating food from past two days, she is demanding iphone. Her parents agreed and told her that today is bank holiday but again she created huge ruckus. I never saw my uncle in tears, this was the first time. He managed the money somehow and now they went to buy iPhone,” the post on Reddit read.
