Trending: Chef Vikas Khanna’s Shirtless Photo Is Breaking The Internet
Chef Vikas Khanna responded to a post by an author after she shared a shirtless photo of him flaunting his well-toned six-pack abs on X.

Cooking is an art and Vikas Khanna is the artist. The acclaimed chef and restauranteur, who is also a Master Chef judge is known for preparing lip-smacking cuisines. The culinary expert has hosted several events for world leaders like Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former President of the United States Barack Obama, and other celebrities. But this time, Vikas Khanna has grabbed the eyeballs of the masses, not for his cooking skills but for dropping a too-hot-to-handle shirtless picture of himself on Instagram. Admiring the artist and his art, when author Ruchi Kokcha re-shared the chef’s photo on X (formerly Twitter), it paved the way for a fun banter between the two. Their social media exchange quickly went viral.

In her hilarious note accompanying Vikas Khanna’s picture, Ruchi Kokcha wrote, “Look like chef Vikas Khanna doesn’t eat what he cooks.” She also added a heart-eye smiley emoji. The snapshot captured the talented chef, flaunting his six-pack abs and toned physique sans any shirt. He only had a pair of black joggers on him, carrying a backpack on his shoulders. Vikas looked sideways and sported a beaming smile.

A day after the author shared the picture, Vikas Khanna reposted it on X. Responding to her claims, the chef asserted that he does eat what he cooks. However, the secret to his sculpted physique was home-cooked Indian meals. “I cook and eat my food. Indian home cooking,” he wrote. Ruchi Kokcha, the author of My Mother’s Boyfriend was quick to agree with Vikas, highlighting that Indian men who cook Indian meals are the “bestest”. “Indian food- best in the world. Indian men who cook that food- bestest,” she wrote.

X users rallied to the comments, reacting to Vikas Khanna and Ruchi Kokcha’s friendly banter. While one individual joked, “One Vikas Khanna picture a day keeps sadness away,” another quipped, “It needs more immense hard work along with food that he eats for such a fit body. Keep smiling and shining super chef.” Agreeing with Vikas, a third user wrote, “Home-cooked food is the best.”

Originally, Vikas Khanna’s shirtless picture was shared as a joint Instagram venture including photographer Samir Shrestha. In an elaborate caption, the photographer revealed that he had known Vikas for years. So, apart from the monikers the chef was bestowed with like “renaissance man”, the most influential Indian chef in the World”, “hottest chef in New York”, and “the most recognizable face of Indian cuisine”, Samir only saw Vikas as an individual who travelled from Amritsar to America with a bag full of dreams. He credited Vikas’ “never give up” attitude for earning fame and accolades.
