Love can happen anytime and anywhere. We have often heard this phrase. Some people have experienced this as well. The case in point here is a woman who went beyond limits to be with a man, while on a holiday with her then-boyfriend. Yes, you heard it right. The young woman even moved thousands of miles away from her home to live in Ipswich, UK, where the man was residing. The woman named Kara, 28, met a British man named James on a vacation with her ex-boyfriend. The crossover at Panama City Beach, Florida, soon blossomed into a whirlwind romance as the woman explained that it was ‘love at first sight’. Kara says that her meeting with the man attracted her toward him which seemingly has come to fruition, as the duo got married after just eight months of knowing one another.
Interestingly, Kara was visiting the Spinnakers Beach Club, in Florida, USA, after winning a dance contest, where she was accompanied by her sister, now ex-boyfriend and his best friend. She and her friends were waiting to be called up for dance when James, along with his brother and friends, approached them. He asked them to recommend some good places to eat.
Speaking about her first meeting with Leightons Opticians, Kara told, “The first thing I noticed was James’ smile and then his eyes. I won’t lie. I thought he was trouble! There was something between us, though. I can’t even explain it.”
Kara says that there was an instant connection with the man despite the reservations as she was dating her ex-boyfriend at that time. As they talked through the day, Kara discovered common interests with James. She said, “My dad was a breakdancer in California and Hispanic and taught me how to dance, so finding guys who could dance was a challenge, but James surprised me.”
The woman, then, decided to move ahead with James and everything fell into place. After indulging in chats online for three months, Kara fell absolutely in love with him. The couple, soon, proposed to each other. In May 2016, James visited Kara in Michigan, where she spent time with her.
In August 2016, during an exciting trip from Florida to Michigan, James proposed to her with a ring. Recounting the day, Kara told, “Little did I know he had a ring and proposed to me on the beach in front of Spinnakers, where we first met. I said yes.” They exchanged vows in October 2016, following which Kara moved to the UK in December in that same year.
