Watch: Pakistani Journalist Attacked By A Bull In The Middle Of Live Reporting
Although the incident's precise location is unknown, it is possible that it happened around Eid-al-Adha as buyers and sellers could be seen briskly interacting at the cattle market.

A Pakistani journalist got struck by a bull during a live coverage. The precise moment of the horrific event was captured in a video that has gone viral. Reporting at a bustling cattle market, the reporter informed the viewers about the various prices associated with livestock. In addition to the cow standing behind her, there were other individuals encircling her. Suddenly, two bulls arrived from nowhere and struck her on the left side. She let out a terrified cry and collapsed on the ground. The video then panned to the personnel removing the bulls and one man returning the mic.

The identity of the reporter remains unclear. However, the mic she was carrying had the logo of Lahore-based news organisation, City 42.

Although the incident’s precise location is unknown, it is possible that it happened around Eid-al-Adha as buyers and sellers could be observed briskly interacting at the cattle market.

The video was posted on X and garnered more than 3 lakh views. While some people found the scenario humourous, others were worried for the journalist’s wellbeing.

A user commented, “This was an unexpected and shocking moment on live TV. Kudos to the reporter for maintaining composure in such a dangerous situation. Safety should always be a priority in the field.”

Another person said, “I was expecting the back one to hit but there comes the big twist in the scene.”

A third individual mentioned, “Bohot dard hua hoga.” (This must have hurt)

Some light-hearted comments include – “Never let them know your next move.”

Another user, referring to the costs the reporter was mentioning for the purchase of the livestock, noted, “So basically undervaluing is not at all appreciated across all species.”

A third user mentioned the internet famous Pakistani journalist saying, “Inse na ho payega Chand Nawab ko bulao.” (They can’t do it, call Chand Nawab)

Chand Nawab rose to fame after a 2008 video in which he attempted to report on the Eid celebration excitement atop the staircase at the railway station in Karachi while being constantly interrupted by passengers, which annoyed him.

The real Chand Nawab phenomenon began much later when his viral video served as the impetus for Indian director Kabir Khan to create the character of Chand Nawab, played by Nawazuddin Siddiqui, for his 2015 blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Siddiqui recreated Chand Nawab’s railway station scene causing him to re-arise to online stardom.
