In the footage, they can be seen grabbing and hitting one other while a group of people attempts to diffuse the conflict.

At this time, we’ve probably seen everything that happens within the Delhi Metro. Even while such behaviours consistently make news, we are no longer shocked by them. Mumbai local followed the Delhi metro, where comparable incidents began to build up, but the standard is set far too high. The Patna–Kanpur train is the most recent addition to the train shenanigans. The long-standing custom of fighting over seats took a so serious turn that the video ended up circulating widely.

Although the exact date of the event is unknown, it shows two women squabbling over a seat. In the footage, they can be seen grabbing and hitting one other while a large group of people surrounds them and attempts to diffuse the conflict. Though nobody can be heard above the din of the train, they may be heard muttering a few things to each other.

The caption reads, “Kalesh b/w Passengers Inside Patna To Kanpur Train over seat issues.”

The video has more than 64,000 views on the social media platform. And the comments section, as usual, was laughing over the situation.

A user wrote, “Train Fights have become the new normal now.”

Another user said, “Aise me hamesha maje me upper berth wale hi hote hai. (In this case, those in the upper berth always have the most fun.)”

Meanwhile, a user had a long list of complaints about the general compartment as they said, “It’s always a pleasure to travel in general coach. Perpetually stinking washrooms, Overcrowded seats, Kalesh at every station, Someone listening to bhojpuri song in high volume, Political debates over gutkha sessions, Aaah the good old days.”

Some users even tagged Union Minister of Railways of India, Ashwini Vaishnaw over the condition of trains, especially seat allotment scenarios.

People fighting over seats in public transport is a normal visual of an Indian commuter. Previously, a video from Telangana went viral showing female passengers engaging in a violent brawl. The incident, which happened while travelling from Zaheerabad to Sangareddy, showed a startling video of two ladies having a heated dispute that suddenly turned violent.

Initially, the fight was between seated people, but it quickly escalated to include those who were standing and became a chaotic scenario.

Children aboard the bus caused further suffering as scared kids sobbed in the mayhem that was happening.
