Why Everything In Universe Is Always In Motion
In the universe if everything stops moving, it would result in explosions and the intense energy would cause a huge chaos in space.

Nothing in the universe is stationary. While we move around, we might feel that the earth is stationary, but this is not the case at all. Earth revolves around the Sun at a speed of around 1,07,000 km per hour. All the planets in our galaxy revolve around the sun. The galaxies are also reportedly moving continuously. This raises the question: why does everything in space keep moving? What would happen if everything became stationary?

According to a report by Live Science, some scientists have uncovered the reason behind this. Edward Gomez, an astronomer at the Las Cumbres Observatory, explained that it all depends on how the universe and its structures were formed. The universe came into existence after the Big Bang, which caused a huge explosion, creating everything that we see today. It is said that the planets were pushed apart from each other due to the huge pressure of the Big Bang. Since this process is still ongoing and the universe is expanding, everything in the universe is always moving.

Carol Christian, an astrophysicist and outreach project scientist for the Hubble Space Telescope at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, mentioned that the universe came into existence due to the movement of different things which caused the Big Bang. The movement depends on the speed of each object. He mentioned that in the universe if everything stops moving, it would result in explosions and the intense energy would cause a huge chaos in space.

So, why don’t we fly away? The reason is quite simple. We don’t fly away or float because of the Earth’s gravitational force. As long as an object is not subjected to a force strong enough to overcome gravity, it won’t fly. This principle is what rockets operate on, and the force is called escape velocity. In space, there is no gravity, which allows the space objects to move in any direction. Many objects in space come near Earth but they don’t cause harm due to the atmosphere.
