Video: Kate Middleton Spotted With Prince William For The First Time Since Her Surgery As They 'Shop For Bread'

The video of Kate Middleton and Prince William visiting her beloved farm store has surfaced on social media and the Princess of Wales looked relaxed and happy on her shopping trip with her husband.

Kate was dressed in a hoodie and leggings and was seen carrying her own shopping bag as she walked through the car park at the farm shop. The Sun earlier reported that Kate Middleton was spotted out and about for the first time since her abdominal surgery. Kate and William also spent Sunday morning watching her children play sports.

Kate Middleton was criticised for editing her Mother’s Day family photo and she apologised for causing concerns with her edited picture.

The Sun in its report said it decided to report her appearance in their newspaper on Monday and release the video on its webpage today in a bid to end what Buckingham Palace has called the “madness of social media”. The video was shared by the The Sun as well as TMZ on social media.

The video, according to the newspaper, was taken by Nelson Silva, 40, who spotted the royal couple shopping for bread. “

Nelson Silva, 40, who took the video, was shopping for steak when he spotted Kate and William in the bread aisle.

“I noticed a couple choosing loaves of bread and the woman turned her face and I felt like I had seen the face before. It was familiar. I knew it from somewhere,” Silva was quoted as saying by The Sun.

“Then William turned back and I thought ‘hold on I know this person’. I said to the staff ‘I think it’s them’ as I paid. I went to my car and as they came out of the shop I just filmed them. I think they walked out through a gate out of the grounds. They just vanished and I didn’t see a car,” he further added.

He said the couple looked “super relaxed”. “Kate looked happy and relaxed. They look happy just to be able to go to a shop and mingle. Kate looked relieved like it was a success going to a shop,” he said.

A body language expert, Judi James, also told the news outlet that Kate is “healthy, energetic and happy to be out”. She said Kate’s video is reassuring and also quashes the rumours surrounding her.

“It offers reassurance plus an emphatic quashing of rumours flying around on social media. Kate appears more than happy to be visible, chatting to her husband happily,” she was quoted as saying.

James also pointed out that Kate is walking in a manner that shows she has “no desire to be supported or protected as she walks ahead”.

“It is Kate in the lead here, implying no desire to be supported or protected as she walks ahead, turning her face to chat to William,” James said.

The Kensington Palace maintains Kate is “doing well” and said it will offer only significant updates as she recovers. The Princess of Wales spent 13 nights in hospital after requiring major surgery to her abdomen on January 17 at The London Clinic.
