Now you don't have to be a good shooter to hit the mark. The US military has successfully tested self-steering "smart" bullets that have a real-time guidance system to track targets and can change their course if needed.

Trekkers stranded by an avalanche in Nepal, many of them from Israel, fought for food and for places on rescue helicopters after being denied shelter by locals in the aftermath of an earthquake that killed more than 5,000 people.

The total number of people brought back from the quake-hit Himalayan nation since the first plane landed late on Saturday night is now 1,191.

An AIFF official said that the team will be brought back to India on Sunday by the military aircraft.

Health Ministry officials said that they have taken complete stock of the situation and are ready to rush medical teams and medicines to the worst-hit states of Bihar and Uttar Pradesh as well as Nepal.

The two flights which were to be operated on Saturday have been cancelled and would now take-off tomorrow, Air India said.

The nationality of the contract-based mission staff was not immediately known.

Romanian climber Alex Gavan said on Twitter that there had been a "huge avalanche" and "many, many" people were up on the mountain.

A high-intensity quake shook Nepal's capital, causing extensive damage to buildings.

Tremors were felt as far away as New Delhi and other northern cities in India.

The tweet with photos of the Apple products in water has gone viral.
