Toyota Fortuner 2016 model has received a lounge treatment by DC Design. The revamp includes upgrades to the exterior and interior, giving it an executive lounge appeal.

The already masculine looking SUV has now gotten chunkier side fenders, doors, bumpers and the scuff plate. The seven seat layout has been replaced with two executive lounge seats. Both passenger seats have separate reading lights, and the driver's section has been separated with a partition.

The new Toyota Fortuner was launched on November 7 with two engine options – a 2.8-litre diesel engine and a 2.7-litre petrol engine. The diesel unit produces 177 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque, while the petrol engine delivers 164 horsepower and 245 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5 speed manual and 6 speed auto.

The diesel trim is available both as a 2WD and 4WD but the petrol Fortuner is limited to a 2WD.

Prices for the Toyota Fortuner lounge by DC Design have not been revealed.
