How do you get super-tall tomatoes?
The only way to get super-tall tomato plants is luck. Unfortunately, the only known way to get an extremely tall tomato plant is by sheer luck. Just like in real life, sometimes the plants in Grow a Garden can decide to just grow very, very tall. However, just because there are no confirmed ways to get a tall tomato plant, that doesn't mean there aren't some methods and rituals that other players swear by. Player Suggestions on Getting Tall Plants
Just because the only known way to get a super-tall tomato plant in Grow a Garden is luck, that doesn't mean there aren't some wacky methods and rituals that players try to guarantee a tall tomato plant. While these methods may or may not work, there's no harm in trying! They might just help you get your next super-tall tomato plant. Use sprinklers while planting. Master Sprinklers or Godly Sprinklers work best! Place one of every type of sprinkler around the plant, then leave the game for a few hours. Spam seeds until you get a big one. Wait until there's a thunderstorm to see if your plants mutate. Just plant a lot of plants to see if you get a tall tomato plant. Try planting as many tomato plants as your garden allows, or as many as you can afford.
Getting a Giant Tomato
Plant as many tomatoes as possible. To increase your chances of growing a large tomato, plant as many tomatoes as you possibly can, depending on how much space you have or how much money you have.
Use sprinklers that increase mutation chances. Any sprinkler that is Legendary rarity or higher will increase your mutation chances.
Use pets that increase fruit size. Some pets that increase fruit size include the Cat and the Orange Tabby, but any pet that increases fruit size can help.
Wait for the tomatoes to finish growing. Be prepared for it to take a while to get a giant tomato, as tomatoes only have a huge chance of 1%. Thankfully, tomatoes don't take very long to grow, so you can start over if you don't end up growing a massive tomato.
Getting a Grand Tomato
The Grand Tomato is a larger version of the tomato that was available during an event. The Grand Tomato could only be obtained during the Cooking Event. It's similar to a normal tomato, but the plant grows massive fruits that are square-shaped instead of round. Grand Tomatoes can no longer be obtained in Grow a Garden unless you have any leftover Gourmet Seed Packs or Exotic Gourmet Seed Packs from the Cooking Event. There's a 0.5% chance to get a Grand Tomato Seed from both the Gourmet Seed Pack and the Exotic Gourmet Seed Pack.
