MG Motor India, in collaboration with JSW, is gearing up to conquer the premium car market in India with the launch of a new retail chain called ‘MG Select.’
This exclusive showroom will house the automaker’s future flagship models, including hybrid and electric vehicles.
Taking inspiration from Maruti Suzuki’s Nexa-Arena strategy, MG Select will focus on high-end products, while the current lineup, including the Comet EV, Hector, Astor, and others, will continue to be sold through regular MG dealerships.
The first MG Select outlets are set to open in 2025, with plans to expand across 12 cities. One of the flagship models to be showcased is the Cyberster, which debuted in India earlier this year. MG Select showrooms will offer a luxurious, personalized experience for modern customers, blending innovation with sustainability.
According to Carwale, Gaurav Gupta, Chief Growth Officer of JSW MG Motor India, said, “MG Select aims to redefine the car-buying experience by combining luxury with innovation and creating a new standard for premium customers in India.”
