Toyota issues recall for 119 Camry cars in India
Toyota says there could be a possible defect with the front suspension.

Toyota's recall session in India this year started with the Innova and now its flagship, the Camry follows suit. 119 units of the Camry which were manufactured between March and July 2011 are being recalled.

These cars were made in Japan and Toyota says there could be a possible defect with the front suspension. This recall is part of the global recall for the Camry which has affected around 1.7 lakh units worldwide.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM), the Indian subsidiary of the Japanese giant, will be contacting customers of the 119 units individually and replacing the faulty part free of charge. It is being said that the suspension has a faulty ball joint which may result in the driver losing control over the vehicle.
