Team India star batsman Virat Kohli registered yet another half-century against the Netherlands in the home nation’s final group stage fixture before the knockout fixture against New Zealand in the ongoing ICC ODI World Cup 2023.
Kohli’s 51 runs off 56 deliveries against the Dutch took his tournament tally to 594 runs as he went past South Africa’s Quinton de Kock in the highest run-getters table.

The Protea opener has amassed 591 runs in the campaign and stands behind Kohli in the rankings for the golden bat. The left-hander seems to be in fine fettle as well and will look to continue his touch in the semifinal encounter against Australia.
Kiwi revelation Rachin Ravindra, who surpassed expectations at the WC with the willow, has 565 runs to his name and stands third in the table. He will look to add to the count when New Zealand take on India in the semifinal.

Australia opener David Warner, who also added a half-ton in his side’s last group stage fixture against Bangladesh on Saturday, has put up 499 runs at the tournament and comes in fifth on the list.
The semifinal of the tournament will see India take on New Zealand in a clash between the top-ranked team in the league table and the side that finished fourth respectively, on the 15th of November at the famous Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
While the second semifinal between second and third-placed sides, Australia and New Zealand, will be contested on the 16th of the month at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
The final of the blue ribbon event will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on the 19th of November.
