Alia Bhatt couldn’t hide her reaction when the paparazzi called her Vahini (Bhabhi, in Marathi) when they spotted her. Alia was seen at the Mumbai airport on late Wednesday evening. In a video shared on Instagram, the Gangubai Kathiawadi star was seen rushing to board her flight. Despite her schedule, Alia stopped to take a photo with a young fan. As she made her way to the departure gate, the cameramen present at the airport greeted her.
“Vahini namaskar,” said a cameraman. The greeting left her blushing. She smiled for the cameras and headed to her flight. A paparazzi also asked her about Ranbir Kapoor. Fans took to the comments section and shared their reactions. “Vahini ,” another fan wrote. A few also dropped heart emojis.

Alia is likely headed to London. The actress will soon be hosting her first Hope Gala in London. Reportedly, the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani actress will host the event on March 28 in partnership with the Mandarin Oriental hotel group at the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London.
With this, Alia will be supporting Salaam Bombay charity, which is focused on engaging Mumbai’s most vulnerable children through in-school programmes (leadership and advocacy) and after-school academies (skill building) that help build their confidence, and self-esteem and commit them to stay in school.
The actress recently wrapped work on her upcoming film, Jigra. She will be seen with Vedang Raina. The film is co-produced by her production house and is directed by Vasan Bala. Besides this, Alia also recently signed a film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The actress will reunite with her Gangubai Kathiawadi director for a film titled Love and War. The film also stars Vicky Kaushal and Ranbir Kapoor.
