Sidharth Malhotra was seen as the guest of CNN News18’s Rising Bharat Summit. On the second day a panel of Masala or Off-Beat: Scripting A New Story, the actor took the stage and shared about his journey. However, in one segment of the talk, Sidharth also revealed his first pay cheque which he received while doing an advertisement campaign.
Revealing about the same, Sidharth Malhotra said, Samsung ka ek campaign chal raha tha uss time pe. Aur unko ek ladka aur ek ladki chahiye the ek session ke liye. Mera pehla pay check tha 2.5-3000 rs.” The Yodha actor also went ahead and shared how he landed in Mumbai and started his acting journey. He shared that Anubhav Sinha called him. “Ek saal humne training ki. Aap apne lines bolte hai, aap script ke baare mein baat karte hai. Aap prep karte hai uske liye. Shooting shuru hone wali hai. Achanak se hume pata chalta hai unke pass commitment hai aur behetarin commitment hai. Jo ki picture delay hog aye hai ya shayad nah ho ya koi aur direct kare usko.”
Sidharth Malhotra is currently seen in Yodha co starring Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani. He has been receiving an overwhelming response for his performance. After the release of the film, the actor decided to surprise the viewers who flocked to theatres to catch the movie over the weekend. Videos of Sidharth inside cinema halls interacting with the cine-goers have gone viral on social media.
Prior to the release of the film, Sidharth Malhotra was spotted at many promotional events. But amid the busy schedules, he made sure to interact with his fans and share a few memorable moments with them. The actor was photographed at Mumbai’s airport when he met the young child and offered him a special gift.
Yodha has been directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, and revolves around a high-stakes hijack situation. The film was released in theatres on March 15. Sidharth Malhotra was last seen in the web series Indian Police Force.
