Varun Dhawan Becomes The Youngest Bollywood Actor To Have His Wax Statue At Madame Tussauds In Sydney

Varun Dhawan is on a roll. From announcing that he will become a father soon to awaiting back-to-back releases, the actor’s personal and professional lives are keeping him occupied. Now, Varun has another achievement to celebrate. His wax statue has arrived at Madame Tussauds Museum in Sydney, Australia. With this, Varun becomes the youngest Bollywood actor to make his debut at this museum.

Varun’s statue at the Sydney Museum comes only a few years after his statue was unveiled at the museum’s Hong Kong branch. Even then, Varun was the youngest Bollywood actor to have his figurine there. The Sydney branch has unveiled a new Bollywood set with wax statues of stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan on display.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun Dhawan recently received the Best Actor (Popular Choice) award at the News18 Showsha Reel Awards 2024. The Bollywood actor won the award for his stellar performance in director Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal. The film also starred Janhvi Kapoor in the lead.

He recently unveiled the title slate of his upcoming project with Samantha Ruth Prabhu – Citadel Honey Bunny. Citadel: Honey Bunny boasts of a riveting narrative that fuses the pulse-pounding elements of a gritty spy action thriller with the heartwarming allure of a love story, all set against the vibrant tapestry of the ’90s. Honey Bunny is the Indian series within the Citadel universe.

It has been written by Raj and DK and Sita R. Menon. Apart from Varun and Samantha, it stars Kay Kay Menon, Simran, Soham Majumdar, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Kashvi Majmundar, Saquib Saleem, and Sikandar Kher in pivotal roles. The release date is yet to be announced.

Varun Dhawan also has Baby John coming up. The highly-awaited Atlee film featuring actors Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh and Wamiqa Gabbi will be released in May this year.
