New Delhi: The human tragedy of the terrorist attacks and hostage situation in Mumbai in the last week has begun to unfold. It seems like no one was spared. Victims included top cops, bell boys and servers, or the best of India Inc.
Among the victims are the non-executive chairman of Yes Bank, Ashok Kapur. He had gone for dinner with his wife to the trident. He was one of the hostages killed.
Sunil Parekh and Developer Pankaj Shah, were also killed. Pankaj Shah was one of the leading property investors in the city.
Uma Garg, wife of Ispat Industries owmer Vinod Garg was also among the victims.
Sabina Saikia, a consulting editor with the Times of India who perished in the fire on the sixth floor of Taj that was gutted down during the terrorist hold-up, was cremated in Delhi on Sunday.
