New Delhi: JP Morgan is on a hiring spree and is looking at hiring 3,000 people for its Mumbai BPO.

The BPO currently employs about 7,000 people and this number is expected to go up to 10,000 over the next 12 to 18 months.

Sources say that that's a 'moderate growth rate of employees'. Officials at JP Morgan, on the other hand, were not available for a comment on the matter.

The group's human resource expansion plans have been brought about because of the high attrition rate amongst BPOs.

Sources close to JP Morgan's BPO however say that their attrition rates are well below industry averages, since it is a captive BPO unit.
