Sri Lanka is on the verge of securing their victory at the second Test against Bangladesh as they head into the final day of the game with three more wickets to win the fixture and whitewash the hosts 2-0.
However, they will have to deal with Mehidy Hasan Miraz who is eyeing a long innings if the home side has any chance of salvaging a draw. The lower-order batter has already scored 44 runs and is eyeing up a half-century.
For the visitors, the trio of Lahiru Kumara, Prabath Jayasuriya and Kamindu Mendis will be expected to finish off the game quickly with the three having picked up two wickets each.
With the lack of any more specialist batters, it will be an uphill task for the home side to be able to bat throughout the day. Sri Lanka is well ahead and looks all set to take home the win no matter how long it might take.
