Keeping in mind the final match to be held between Delhi Capitals and Royal Challengers Bangalore on Sunday, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has extended its services beyond its normal operating hours for one day.
The metro services in the national capital will run as late as 12:15 AM IST to ensure ‘safe travels’ for the fans who will be at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi to watch the title clash.

The Delhi Gate metro station is the closest to the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Meanwhile, DC and RCB will be gunning for glory tonight when the two teams meet one last time in WPL 2024.
DC start the contest favourites having topped the league stage with six wins and two defeats from eight matches that helped them a direct entry into the final without having to play the Eliminator.
RCB defeated the inaugural champions Mumbai Indians in the Eliminator on Friday to make it to their first ever WPL final. The Smriti Mandhana-led franchise had finished third on the table having won four and lost as many of their league matches.
“We’ve seen throughout the tournament that there’s been some crazy cricket, some crazy finishes. So I’m expecting nothing less tomorrow. And we’re coming up against RCB who have played some excellent cricket. They’ve got match-winners, and they’ve shown that they’re able to play some great cricket when they’re under the pump. So what a great challenge for our group to go out there and have to take them on. And I’ve got full confidence that we’ll be able to deliver when we need to,” said DC captain Meg Lanning on Saturday.
RCB captain Mandhana isn’t worried about the past.
“We are playing a good Delhi Capitals side which has played some amazing cricket not just this season but also last season. One thing cricket has taught us is that it is important to live in the present, that what’s gonna happen. I don’t think I will be thinking – or any of the teammates, nor did I ever have a chat with any of the other Indian teammates about how we outsmart them. It’s just about playing good cricket on that day,” Mandhana said.
