While Babar Azam might be under pressure with his poor form with the bat, the fans of Pakistan Cricket were in full support of their batting star as he pulled up for a practice session ahead of the Champions One-Day Cup 2024.
A video which went viral on X (formerly known as Twitter) showcased the massive crowds that were present ahead of Azam’s practice session for the Stallions ahead of their opening game against Lions at Faisalabad on September 13.
The 29-year-old has been in his worst form with the bat. Despite being reappointed as the captain of Pakistan’s white-ball unit, it resulted in Pakistan’s disastrous T20 World Cup 2024 campaign, where they suffered a group-stage exit after being beaten by the likes of India and shockingly, the United States of America as well.

Azam’s disappointing form has even led to speculation suggesting that he could be ousted as the captain for a second time with reports suggesting that Mohammad Rizwan taking over the responsibilities.

Pakistan’s ace batter will hope that he can rediscover his form and hope to inspire the Pakistan Cricket Team to come out of the rut and get back to firing on all cylinders.
Pakistan recently suffered a whitewash 0-2 defeat at the hands of Bangladesh in the recently concluded Test series that took place in Rawalpindi. The Men in Green have had a poor record recently on their home turf which proves to be a concerning sign about the state of cricketing affairs within the nation.
