Fazalhaq Farooqi (Afghanistan)
The Afghanistan pacer has been outstanding, to say the least, and has been a key cog in the Afghan’s maiden run to the T20 World Cup semi-finals. He was in red-hot form during the group stage where he took a fifer against Oman, a four-fer against New Zealand and a three-fer against Papua New Guinea and India later on to make it 17 wickets in the tournament, the most by a bowler in a single edition of the tournament as well.
Jasprit Bumrah (India)
The leader of the Indian pace attack has been sensational for India through their run to the final. His presence alone is a cheat code with most batters opting to take the passive approach and defend his overs and attack the other bowlers. In the tournament, he has taken 13 wickets at an average of 8.15 and an even more impressive economy of 4.12 which makes him practically unplayable.

Anrich Nortje (South Africa)
The Proteas express pacer who was out for quite some time had a disastrous IPL, before the T20 World Cup. But in the ongoing tournament, he was able to find his form with the ball and has collected 13 wickets in the tournament. He has shown that he still has that lethal pace which most batters fear and has been able to dominate with the ball in the T20 showpiece event.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz (Afghanistan)
The wicketkeeper-batter has certainly hit his stride in the ongoing edition of the tournament as Afghanistan scripted a sensational run to the semi-final. With the bat, it was Gurbaz who gave his side the perfect start. He made significant contributions when he scored 76 and 80 against Uganda and New Zealand respectively in the group stage and followed it up with scores of 60 against Australia and 43 against Bangladesh in the Super Eight stage of the tournament as he finished with 281 runs, the most so far bat a batter in this year’s edition.
Tabraiz Shamsi (South Africa)
The left-arm wrist-spinner was not in the South African side during their games in the USA but once the tournament was in the Caribbean, Shamsi did not take long to deliver as he picked up wickets in every game he has featured in the tournament. In just five games he has as many as 11 wickets in the tournament which includes a four-fer against Nepal and two three-wicket hauls against the West Indies and Afghanistan respectively.
Rohit Sharma (India)
The Indian skipper despite a shaky start to the tournament has certainly come good with the bat as he delivered when it mattered most. He is currently the third-highest run-scorer in this edition and came in during the big games with fine knocks against Australia and England where he scored 92 and 57 respectively.
Arshdeep Singh (India)
The left-arm pacer was certainly questioned whether he could be played as India’s second pacer. He surely shut down the critics with his performance as he is India’s leading wicket-taker in this edition and the second-overall with 15 wickets so far. He has certainly performed well past expectations in the tournament.
Quinton de Kock (South Africa)
The experienced opening batter has had a rocky start to the tournament. After scoring 41 against the co-hosts West Indies in the opening game, he struggled to maintain consistency throughout the tournament. But he delivered in some crucial games against the likes of the USA and England in the Super Eights to help the Proteas march till the final.
