KL Rahul's Three-Word Reaction On Possibility Of Playing For RCB in IPL 2025 Goes Viral – WATCH
Rahul has played for RCB in IPL 2013 and then again in the 2016 edition. He has 417 runs to his name in 19 matches for the Bengaluru-based franchise in the IPL.

Star Indian batter KL Rahul made his IPL debut in 2013 for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and then after playing a couple of years for Sunrisers Hyderabad (2014-2015), he again joined the Bengaluru-based franchise in 2016. He missed the 2017 edition of the cash-rich league due to injury, and then he was released by the franchise, after which he joined the Punjab Kings (2018-2021) and later the Lucknow Super Giants (2022-present).

Despite being the captain of LSG in the world’s richest franchise cricket league and making a big name for himself as a batter, Rahul on numerous occasions in the past has expressed his desire to play for RCB again.

With the mega auction set to take place next year, there’s a high possibility that the 32-year-old right-handed batter will leave the Lucknow-based franchise, which he joined for Rs 17 crore ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction, and possibly join RCB again.

Even though there is no guarantee in the mega auction that Rahul will get his wish fulfilled, the news of him joining RCB has been doing the rounds on social media for quite some time now.

Amid all this, a video of him is now going viral on the internet, in which when a fan discussed the possibility of his return to RCB for IPL 2025, he gave a three-word reaction.

“I am a die-hard RCB fan. I am following RCB since very long, and you playing past in RCB, and now definitely the rumours; I won’t say anything. But yeah, I am just wishing and praying that you come into RCB and rock here,” the fan said, to which KL replied by saying, “Let’s hope so.”

Rahul’s record for RCB

In his maiden IPL season for RCB, Rahul played in five matches but only got a chance to bat twice, and he scored 20 runs (12 and 8). In 2016, he joined RCB again and finished as the third leading run scorer for the franchise by amassing a total of 397 runs in 14 matches. He missed the 2017 edition due to a shoulder injury, after which RCB released him.
