Jasprit Bumrah continues to show his class as one of the most valuable players in Indian cricket presently. The pacer recalled his early days in the Indian Premier League and how the great Sachin Tendulkar gave him some advice which led to his first wicket in the tournament. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Speaking in a video uploaded by JioCinema, Bumrah revealed that he does not believe that there is a perfect delivery because of how the shortest format works. He said,” There is no perfect delivery in cricket. Every ball is a wicket-taking delivery according to me. Because in T20 cricket anything can happen”.

It was not an easy start as Kohli showed his class by smacking Jasprit for a hat-trick of boundaries to begin the over. The pacer revealed the chat he had with Sachin in the middle. “At that time, I was slipping, not able to land the ball where I wanted to. So at that time, Sachin sir who was at mid-off, was there so, I told him I was slipping and not used to bowling like this. He said don’t worry about it, one good delivery and your match will be different”.

The legend’s words came to fruition as Bumrah was able to overcome his woes with the conditions and get the right landing as he delivered it angling into the right-hander and straight onto the pads which then was given as LBW.
“That is exactly what happened, I think that assurance was needed at the time. If I bowl a good bowl and do my things well, I can do something,” he concluded.

The pacer has now made himself indispensable across all three formats in international cricket and for MI in the IPL as well as he continues to show why he is a generational bowler who will etch his name within the history books.
