Two of the iconic names to come out of the Caribbean were at it against each other. The legendary eight-time Olympic gold medalist and the ‘Fastest Man Alive,’ Usain Bolt was handed a massive challenge by none other than the two-time T20 World Cup winner, the Universe Boss himself, Chris Gayle wanted to get back at his fellow compatriot.
Gayle recalled an instance where he was playing a charity game and he was dismissed by Bolt. The sprinter is a decent fast-bowler and got the better of the legendary opening batter with a short delivery as shared by the West Indies legend.
Initially, Bolt had Gayle on the backfoot with a couple of shorter deliveries which he left but then he decided to show his skills and managed to smack a couple of boundaries but an inside edge onto the stumps meant that the Universe Boss was dismissed.

WI will open its campaign with the first game coming against Papua New Guinea on June 2, 2024, at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. The two-time winners will look to make use of the home advantage and make it their third title as they have a fairly decent side that could pose a challenge against some of the top oppositions the tournament has to offer.
