Vamshhi Krrishna achieved the feat against Railways spinner Damandeep Singh in the first innings of the fixture played at the YS Raja Reddy ACA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam

Andhra wicketkeeper Vamshhi Krrishna got his name etched in the history books after slamming six sixes in an over during a Col CK Nayudu Trophy fixture against Railways on Wednesday. Krrishna reached the milestone on the fourth and final day of the game, becoming the fourth Indian batter after Ravi Shastri, Yuvraj Singh and Ruturaj Gaikwad to have hit six sixes in an over.

Krrishna achieved the feat against Railways spinner Damandeep Singh in the first innings of the fixture played at the YS Raja Reddy ACA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. He ended up playing a 110-run knock off just 64 balls, with the help of nine boundaries and 10 sixes. The official handle of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) domestic also shared a video of Krrishna hitting six sixes in one over.

Relive those monstrous hits,” read the post shared by BCCI domestic on social media platform X, formerly Twitter.

The post went viral in no time and social media users, quite understandably, were left stunned by Vamshhi Krrishna’s power-hitting.

Vamshhi Krrishna’s stupendous knock guided Andhra to a solid total of 378. Sr Kumar and MD Jaiswal picked up three wickets each for Railways. In response, Railways exhibited prolific batting as they posted 865 runs losing nine wickets.

For Railways, Ansh Yadav and Ravi Singh each scored double hundred. Anchit Yadav also contributed significantly, having notched a vital knock of 133. The match, however, ended in a draw. Vasu, Tripurana Vijay and Vamsi Krishna bagged two wickets each for Andhra.
