Before completing the online registration form for each student, heads of educational institutions must crosscheck their information with the school records

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has extended the deadline for Class 9 students to register for their Class 10th Board Exam 2026. According to the official notice, students can submit their application by August 13. Applications can be submitted by heads of state-run secondary schools via the official website, secondary.biharboardonline.com .

“Heads of secondary level educational institutions in the state will now register their institutions’ ninth-class students in the extended period until 13.08.2024 through the website http://secondary. biharboardonline.com,” the notification read.

It is required of educational institution leaders to download and distribute the registration form among all students from the official website. Before completing the online registration form for each student, heads of educational institutions must crosscheck their information with the records of the school.

BSEB Class 9 Registration: Application Fee

The board has extended the dates for both registration and the fee submission. The deadline for submitting the registration fee for the matriculation exams of the BSEB is August 10, as per the timetable. Following that, no student will be allowed to make a payment. Likewise, after August 13, there will be no further registration for matriculation exams.

–– Registration fee for regular category students: Rs 320

–– Registration fee for independent category students: Rs 450

BSEB Class 9 Registration Process

–– The registration form can be downloaded by the principals of the accredited schools from the committee’s website, secondary.biharboardonline.com, and all candidates are encouraged to fill it out.

–– The school principal will carefully compare all the information on the registration form (9th Registration Form) with the admission register and other pertinent records after receiving the completed form from the students. This will ensure that all the information on the form matches with the school’s enrolment register.

–– Three copies of each student’s online-filled registration form (9th Registration Form) will be downloaded from the committee’s website by the school head, who will fill it out for the candidate’s and pay the required amount.

If any mistakes are found in the completed registration form (9th registration form), the individual student, or parent will make the necessary corrections, sign it and submit it to the school administrator.

The school administrator will make corrections to inaccuracies based on the registration form (9th Registration Form) that has been signed and received.

The registration form (9th Registration Form) will not be accepted after the deadline, and the school principal concerned will be solely responsible if any student’s registration is incomplete.
