Actor Darshan, a prominent name in the Kannada film industry, has been in the middle of the Renukaswamy murder case. Meanwhile, another charge has been heard against actor Darshan, who is already in Bellary Jail regarding the Renukaswamy case. While the actor is already struggling to get bail from one case, another allegation has come against the actor. It is said that an NCR has been filed against actor Darshan in this regard.
Darshan has been accused of threatening producer Bharath. An NCR has been registered against Darshan and the manager Nagaraj at the Kengeri police station on October 18. The NCR has been registered regarding the threat to producer Bharath; the producer of Bhagavan Shri Krishna had complained earlier.
Meanwhile, Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, a prime accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, has moved to the Karnataka High Court seeking bail. The fresh plea came two days after a session court in Bengaluru refused to grant him any relief in the kidnapping and murder case. The actor’s lawyer has also requested the Karnataka HC for an emergency hearing.
According to reports, the High Court will likely hear the case by October 22. Along with this, Darshan’s rumoured girlfriend Pavithra Gowda and other accused have also approached the high court for bail.
As per the reports, Renukaswamy, who was reportedly a fan of actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, had allegedly sent inappropriate messages to Pavithra Gowda, the actor’s rumoured girlfriend. This provoked Darshan, leading to the events that took place.
It is alleged that Darshan had Renukaswamy abducted and confined in a shed, where he, along with his accomplices, subjected the victim to severe torture, including physical assaults and electric shocks. The 33-year-old man ultimately lost his life due to this brutal treatment.
On June 9, local authorities found Renukaswamy’s body near a stormwell drain in Bangalore’s Sumanahalli area. His post-mortem revealed horrific injuries, including a missing ear, ruptured testicles, and numerous bruises and wounds all over his body.
Renukaswamy’s family continues their pursuit of justice. Meanwhile, his wife Sahana, who was five months pregnant at the time of his death, gave birth to a baby boy on October 16.
