The CBSE Class 12 Results 2024 re-evaluation and mark verification process has now begun and will go on until May 21

The Central Board of Secondary Education released the CBSE Class 10 and 12 exam results for 2024 earlier this week. Students who took the CBSE Board Exams 2024 can check their results on the board’s official website, cbseresults.nic.in. The CBSE Class 12 Results 2024 re-evaluation and mark verification process has now begun. Between May 17 and May 21, Class 12 students can apply for mark verification. The verification window for Class 10 students will open from May 20 to May 24.

HOW TO APPLY FOR CBSE REVALUATION FOR CLASS 12?

Step 1: Go to CBSE’s official website, cbse.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Examination/Student’ area, then choose ‘Apply for Revaluation’.

Step 3: The application form will open in a new window. Fill out the needed information.

Step 4: Fill out the form according to the instructions provided.

Step 5: Click ‘Submit’ to pay the application cost.

Step 6: Save the confirmation page for future reference.

In order to file for a revaluation, the student will have to pay per subject. Processing fees can only be paid online (credit/debit card/net banking). Processing charges will not be received via Postal Order/DD/Money Order/Cheque/Cash, etc. Further, no applications will be accepted after the planned day and time, or while in offline mode. Applications that are incomplete, submitted offline, or do not include a fee will be rejected without further communication with the candidate. In the online process, each candidate will only be able to submit one application per phase. The candidate must decide in advance whether to apply for one or more subjects.

After the revaluation, if there is a change in marks (either an increase or a decrease), applicants must surrender the marksheet and certificate in their possession. Following that, students will receive a marksheet and certificate reflecting their updated performance.

CBSE has also released the schedule for the CBSE Class 12 and Class 10 supplemental exams. According to the official release, additional exams for Class 10 and Class 12 pupils will begin on July 15.

In 2024, about 22,81,225 students from 25,726 schools appeared for 82 subjects from India and 26 foreign countries and about 1,48,27,963 answer booklets were evaluated for Class 10. For Class 12, 1700041 students from 18418 schools appeared for 120 subjects from India and 26 countries abroad and about 1,10,50,266 answer books were evaluated.
