Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited (CPCL) is inviting online applications for the recruitment to the positions of Chemical and Mechanical Engineer in the organisation. It has released a total vacancy of 8 seats. Out of these, six seats are allocated for the Chemical Engineer position while the remaining two seats are for the Mechanical Engineer post. CPCL Recruitment 2024: Steps To Apply

Step 1: Visit the official website.

Step 2: On the homepage, register yourself by submitting your basic contact details

Step 3: Access the application form with your registered ID and password

Step 4: Complete your application form by filling in your necessary details

Step 5: Upload the required documents such as your photo and signature

Step 6: Pay the necessary application fee

Step 7: Submit and download the application form

The application fee for the General, EWS and OBC candidates is Rs 500. SC, ST, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen category applicants don’t need to pay any registration fee.

The age of the candidate should be below 26 years to become eligible for the position. The age exemption is available for the reserved category of applicants. Candidates should have graduated from the Chemical or Mechanical course and should have passed GATE 2023. They must have scored 60 per cent marks during their graduation.

The applicant will be selected based on their GATE 2023 scores and personal interview, followed by a document verification process. Final selection will be on 85% weightage for GATE Score and 15% weightage for Interview Marks. Candidates must secure a minimum of 40 per cent marks in the Interview to be enlisted in the merit list. For SC, ST and PwBD candidates, the minimum qualifying interview mark is 35 per cent.
