The Chhattisgarh government has invited online scholarship applications for the academic year 2024-25. Eligible students can fill out the application form for the Chhattisgarh Post-Matric Scholarship by visiting the official website at http://postmatric-scholarship.CG.nic.in.
Students from the SC, ST and OBC categories studying in the state are eligible for the scholarship program. The last date for locking the new and renewal registration of students, proposals of institutions, and approval for the scholarship has been fixed. The online applications for new and renewal will be accepted from the students from September 9 to October 30. The draft proposals will be locked from September 16 to November 14, as well as the date for locking the sanction order has been fixed as November 21, 2024.
National Scholarship Portal (NSP) One-Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory for applying for the Chhattisgarh Post-Matric Scholarship for SC and ST applicants. The applicants can click on https://scholarships.gov.in/otrapplication to get the NSP OTR number. If any student is found to have more than one OTR, they would be liable for debarment from scholarships.
“All students are requested to please check the status of Aadhaar Authentication (e-KYC) by their login. Students whose Aadhaar Authentication (e-KYC) has failed will get one chance to correct their Aadhaar details,” read the official notification.
Students are advised to provide an active bank account number that is linked with an Aadhaar number, as only an Aadhaar-based payment will be done for crediting the scholarship amount in the bank account.
If the students of the concerned institutions are deprived of scholarship due to not completing the proceedings by the said date, then the head of the institution will automatically be responsible for it.
From the academic year 2024–25, the institutions must do geotagging as per the training provided by the District Nodal. In case geotagging is not done by the institutions, scholarships will not be provided to the students of the said institution.
