The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially opened the registration process for the CA Foundation, Intermediate and Final examinations scheduled for May 2024. Aspiring candidates can now register for these exams through the official website, icai.org.
The registration window for ICAI CA Foundation, Intermediate and Final exams 2024 will remain open from February 2 to February 23, 2024. Additionally, candidates seeking changes in examination city or medium can make corrections from March 3 to March 9, 2024.
According to the official notice released by ICAI, the CA Foundation course exam is set to be conducted in June, specifically on June 20, June 22, June 24, and June 26, 2024. The exams for Foundation Papers 1 and 2 will have a duration of 3 hours, from 2 PM to 5 PM, while Papers 3 and 4 will be conducted for 2 hours, from 2 PM to 4 PM.
For the CA Intermediate course, Group 1 exams are scheduled for May 3, May 5, and May 7, 2024, and Group 2 exams will take place on May 9, May 11, and May 13, 2024. The timings for all Intermediate papers will be from 2 PM to 5 PM.
The CA Final course examinations for Group 1 are slated for May 2, May 4, and May 6, 2024, and Group 2 examinations will be held on May 8, May 10, and May 12, 2024. Papers 1 to 5 of the final course will be conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM, while Paper 6 will have a duration of 4 hours, starting at 2 PM and concluding at 6 PM.

Aspiring candidates are advised to follow the easy steps below to complete the registration process for the ICAI CA May session exams 2024:
Step 1: Visit the official ICAI website.
Step 2: Choose the registration number from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: To access your account, use your registration number and password for logging in.
Step 4: Provide the residential address and other necessary details.
Step 5: Validate the email ID and mobile number.
Step 6: Fill out the CA form and upload the required documents.
Step 7: Make the necessary payment for the application fee and then click on the submit button.
In a notable change, the institute has specified that there will be no advance reading time in Papers 3 and 4 of the Foundation examination and all papers of the Post Qualification Course examination. However, in all other papers, candidates will be given a 15-minute advance reading time from 1.45 PM to 2 PM.
For the International Taxation Assessment Test, the institute has scheduled exams on May 10 and May 12, 2024. The INTT-AT exam papers have a duration of 4 hours and will be conducted between 2 PM to 6 PM.
