IIM Kashipur PhD Programme: Know Eligibility, Application Process And More

One of the leading B-schools, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur, Uttarakhand has been accepting applications for its Doctoral Programmes. It includes subjects like Economics, Finance, Human Resources, and Public Policy. Candidates aspiring to get enrolled in IIM Kashipur can now apply online through the official website of the university at iimkashipur.ac.in. As per the notification, the applications will be accepted by the administration till March 31. Let us take a closer look at the eligibility, fellowship, and process to apply before the last date.

Eligibility

As per the notification, the applicant for any of the PhD courses in IIM Kashipur requires one to have a Master’s or equivalent degree with at least 60 percent of marks or must have at least 60 percent marks in a 5-year Integrated Master’s degree programme after completing Class 12th.

The candidate can also have at least 60 percent marks in a professional master’s degree recognised by UGC, AITCE, AIU or a 4-year or 8-semester Bachelor’s degree or equivalent course with 60 percent marks at least.

Fellowship

The eligible and shortlisted candidates taking admission to IIM Kashipur will be provided with financial assistance as a fellowship every month. As per the announcement, the candidate will be getting a monthly fellowship, ranging from Rs 37,000 to Rs 42,000.

Apart from that, the candidate will also be getting contingency and conference grants of Rs 1.25 lakh and Rs 3 lakh, respectively.

In the application process for the PhD programmes, the institution has reserved seats of 27.8 percent for women candidates, while the rest 72.2 per cent seats are for men candidates.
