Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has released the second merit list for undergraduate courses. Candidates who registered for admission can check and download the JNU UG merit list 2024 on the official website, jnuee.jnu.ac.in. As per the counselling schedule, the physical verification of admission and registration of the chosen candidates will take place between September 2 and September 5. Students can use their candidate login account to verify the status of their results. Using the application number and password as login credentials, candidates can view the JNU UG merit list 2024.

JNU UG Counselling 2nd Merit List 2024: How To Check?

Step 1: Go to jnuee.jnu.ac.in, the official website

Step 2: From the homepage, select the JNU UG second merit list 2024 link

Step 3: To find out the admission status, select the BSc List 2 result or BA List 2 result next

Step 4: Enter your login information including your application number and password

Step 5: The screen will display the JNU UG 2nd merit list 2024

Step 6: Download the PDF and save it for later use

The details mentioned in the scorecard of JNU second merit list 2024 are- the name of the candidate, category, seat numbers, name of the subject and scores. Candidates are required to check the score and other information on the merit list correctly. Candidates who will not be selected for the 2nd merit list will need to wait for admission till the announcement of the third merit list.

JNU 2nd Merit List 2024: Reservation Category

As per the JNU reservation policy, the university reserves 27 per cent of its seats for students in the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category, 15 per cent for students in the Scheduled Classes (SC) category, 7.5 per cent for students in the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, and 5 per cent for students in the Person with Disabilities (PWD) category. According to the official brochure, the PwD reservation is open to candidates who have a disability of 40 per cent or above.

The counselling session is required of the applicants whose names are on the JNU UG merit list 2024.
