The Manipur Board has announced the class 12 result 2024 on May 13. The Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM), formerly known as the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM Manipur) released the results through the official website, manresults.nic.in. Students can also check the Manipur Board Result 2024 on other websites including examsresults.net and results.nic.in.
A total of 97.63 per cent of the students who took the exam passed. Last year, the overall pass percentage stood at 88.68. Aiena Naorem secured the first position in commerce; Th Sheityajit topped the arts stream; L Malemnganbi Laishram bagged the first position in science, officials told PTI. The pass percentage for arts stood at 94.35 per cent, science at 98.91 per cent, and commerce at 93.51 per cent. 31,128 students took the Manipur board 12th exam that was held between February and March. Thoubal is the top-performing district with a 99.58 per cent pass percentage, while Ukhrul is the lowest with 85.95 per cent among the state’s 15 districts.

This year, the exams for the Manipur High School Leaving Certificate were held from March 15 to April 3, 2024. Examinations for Manipur’s class 12 were held from February 21 to March 23, 2024. Exams were given in an offline format throughout the morning hours of 10 am to 1 pm.
The Council of Higher Secondary Education conducts class 12 and Higher Secondary Examination every year. To pass an exam in a certain subject, students must secure 33 marks in that particular subject. Those who fail to secure a minimum of 33 per cent marks will have to appear for supplementary exams.
