The postgraduate admissions calendar for the 2024–2025 academic year has been released by the University of Mumbai. Registration for Mumbai University’s 2024 postgraduate programme has opened today, May 22. The MU PG admission form can be found on the official website muadmission.samarth.edu.in and must be filled out by applicants who wish to enroll in courses in the arts, sciences, commerce, or management.
The PG admissions application process for Mumbai University must be completed by June 15. The Mumbai University PG first merit list will be released on June 26. The online payment for the first merit list needs to be done between June 27 to July 1 up to 5 pm. The second merit list will be released on July 2 by 6 pm and the online payment needs to be completed between July 3 to 5 up to 5 pm. The academic session will begin on July 1.
The MU admission webpage will house all changes to the 2024 PG admission, such as registration, the merit list, and the online payment link. The Mumbai University shared the announcement of the PG admission on X (formerly Twitter). There is no official announcement on the exact time of the live link activation for the application form.

MU PG Admission 2024: Admission Process
Both the pre-allotment forms and the admission forms, which are available on the website, need to be completed and submitted by the candidates. Applicants must first register by providing all the necessary information, including their name, date of birth, gender, and mobile number. Candidates must fill in the Mumbai University admission form 2024 with their personal information and the marks they received in their qualifying test after registering.
Mumbai PG Admission 2024: Documents Required for Verification
To enroll for the PG admission program students need to have the following documents.
1. Printed copy of the properly filled online pre-enrollment form from the university website.
2. Completed admissions form and information form(s) as required.
3. Three certified photocopies of the original HSC mark sheet.
4. One certified copy of the passing certificate and SSC mark sheet.
5. Correctly filled out the Provisional Eligibility Form (for students enrolled in Divisional Boards other than Mumbai or other states).
6. The migration certificate is required for students enrolled in Divisional Boards outside of Mumbai or other states.
7. Two recent colour passport-size photos of the student.
In addition to the documents listed above, NRI candidates additionally require a copy of their passport and visa, a letter from the embassy, and a letter from the ICCR.
According to an official statement, the institution will admit students from all non-autonomous, autonomous, associated colleges and university departments, autonomous departments, and graduate programmes.
