NIFT Stage II Entrance Test 2024 to Be Held Today, Check Exam Pattern
NTA will conduct the situation test, interview round, studio test, and technical ability test for NIFT 2024 admissions today

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is all set to conduct Stage II of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) Entrance Examination 2024 tomorrow, April 13. Candidates who are going to appear for the Stage II exam can download their admit cards from the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/NIFT. Stage II of NIFT includes exams like – Situation Test, Studio Test, Personal Interview, and Technical Ability Test.

“Now, the Admit Cards for all the shortlisted candidates appear on 13th April 2024 for Situation Test, Studio Test, and Interview, Technical Ability Test and Interview as per schedule given above, has been released on 09th April 2024,” reads an official notice from NTA.

NIFT Stage II Entrance Exam 2024: Schedule

– B.Des. (Regular): Situation Test on April 13 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.

– B.Des. (Artisan): Studio Test from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and Personal Interview 02:00 PM Onwards on April 13.

– B.Des. (NLEA): Studio Test from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and Personal Interview from 02:00 PM Onwards on April 13.

– B.F. Tech. (NLEA): Technical Ability Test from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and Personal Interview from 02:00 PM Onwards from April 13.

Situation Test:

To assess a candidate’s skill for managing materials and their capacity for creativity when working with a specific set of materials, the NIFT will administer a situation exam. The NIFT stated that no extra materials will be provided or approved. Candidates will be asked to create a model.

The model will be judged based on space visualisation, inventive and creative use of provided materials, element composition, colour scheme, building expertise, model finesse, and overall presentation. These parameters will be verified with a write-up that explains the philosophy behind the model’s construction. Also, the write-up must be in English.

Personal interview:

Candidates who have been shortlisted and scheduled for a personal interview (PI) will be evaluated using the following criteria:

– Career orientation

– Appropriateness for the course.

– Overall personal achievements in academics and extracurricular activities

– Communication skills and general knowledge are essential.
