In India, many students wish to study and fulfil their dreams. But a lot of them are unable to do so due to their financial constraints. Many students belong to the economically weaker sections of society, which stands as a barrier for them to complete their education. They are forced to drop out and do odd jobs to sustain their families. The government of India has a scholarship scheme for the youth of the country who belong to the economically weaker section.

The name of the scholarship is the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (YASASVI). It provides financial assistance to students from 9th grade to 12th grade. All those students who are interested can visit the website of NTA: www.yet.nta.ac.in/.

PM YASASVI 2024: How to Apply

Step 1: To apply for the PM YASASVI Scholarship Scheme, candidates will have to go to the website of the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment.

Step 2: Then, they will have to go to the home page and click on the link to the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme.

Step 3: Now, the candidates will have to register there. The registration number and password will be sent to the phone via SMS.

Step 4: Then, fill out the application form and upload all the necessary documents.

Step 5: Submit the application.

PM YASASVI 2024: Who Can Apply?

According to the website, the PM YASASVI Scholarship can be availed of by meritorious students from Classes 9 to 12 belonging to the backward class (OBC), the economically backward class (EBC), nomadic and semi-nomadic tribes, and denotified tribes. To be eligible for the scholarship, the annual income of the family should be less than Rs 2.5 lakh. Apart from that, the scholarship amount is directly transferred to the bank account.
