There will be a total of 660 apprentice positions available for recruitment across the country.

The roll numbers of the applicants who were provisionally selected and qualified for the local language proficiency test are included in the result PDF available on the website. The chosen applicants must pass this language exam to be recruited as apprentices. Candidates who can present their class 10th or 12th mark sheet demonstrating their proficiency of the designated local language, on the other hand, are exempt from taking the language test.

Candidates must take the relevant local language test at a Bank-designated centre in the state where they applied, at their own expense. The apprenticeship programme comprises a full year of training. Apprentices are entitled to a monthly stipend of Rs. 15,000 for the course of their one-year employment period. They are not, however, qualified for any further benefits or allowances above the set stipend level.

In the Objective tests, negative marks were assigned for every incorrect response. For every incorrect response, a quarter of the total mark allocated to the question was subtracted. Candidates were required to acquire a minimum percentage mark on aggregate, with a 5 per cent reduction offered to SC/ST/OBC/PwBD students. The Bank calculated the minimum qualifying marks on an aggregate level, with no minimum qualifying grades for specific topics.

Both state and category-wise draws were made for the merit list. Applicants who passed the exam were arranged in their respective states and categories based on the descending order of their total scores.
