The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is gearing up to release the results for the Class 10 board exams 2024 today, April 20. It will be announced at 2 PM. Once announced, students can access their results via the official UP Board website at upmsp.edu.in.

These exams were conducted by the UPMSP across 8,265 exam centers statewide, spanning from February 22 to March 9, with two shifts per day. The first shift ran from 8:30 AM to 11:45 AM, while the second shift was held from 2 PM to 5:15 PM.
UP Board 10th Result 2024: Pass Percentages Over Last 5 Years
As we await the upcoming result announcement, let’s review the pass percentages for the Class 10 UP Board exams over the past five years.
In 2023, the pass percentage for the Class 10th examination of the UP board stood at 89.78 per cent. Among the students, boys achieved a passing percentage of 86.64 per cent, while girls outperformed with a passing percentage of 93.34 per cent.
Talking about 2022, the 10th board examination’s pass percentage was 88.18 per cent. Among them, 85.25 per cent of boys and 91.69 per cent of girls were declared qualified.
Additionally, in 2021, the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent closure of educational institutions prompted a unique evaluation method for Class 10 students. Their scores were determined by a combination of their performance in Class 9 and their marks in pre-board examinations. This 50/50 evaluation method resulted in a remarkable surge in the pass percentage, reaching 99.53 per cent.
The pass rate in 2021 saw a significant increase compared to the previous year, with students achieving nearly 16 per cent higher than in 2020, which stood at 83.31 per cent.
In 2019, the pass percentage was recorded at 80.07 per cent.
UP Board 10th Result 2024: Steps To Download
Step 1. Visit the official UP Board website at upresults.nic.in or upmsp.edu.in
Step 2. Search for and click on the link titled ‘UP Board UP Board High School (Class X) Examination’ on the homepage.
Step 3. Key in your UP Board roll number in the designated space and submit.
Step 4. Once done, the UP Board Class 10th Result 2024 will appear on the screen.
Step 5. Save a copy of the same and take a printout of the result for future use.
Almost 29.47 lakh students enrolled for the Class 10 board exams this year, with 15.71 lakh male and 13.76 lakh female students. As per UP Board Secretary Dibyakant Shukla, the evaluation process for the answer sheets started on March 16 and will conclude on March 31. In addition to that, a total of 94,802 examiners have been appointed to evaluate 1.76 crore answer sheets for the high school examination at 131 evaluation centres.
