The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released a notification to invite recruitment applications for Medical Officer Grade-2 positions. As per the released notice, the application process will be beginning from March 15. Interested candidates can visit the official website of UPPSC at www.uppsc.up.nic.in. According to the released notice, the last date to apply for the offered positions online is scheduled on April 12, while the deadline for correction of application is April 23. Apart from the online mode, the individuals submitting offline applications can submit them till April 30.

Vacancy
According to the notification, the UPPSC is offering a total of 2,532 positions in the Medical Health and Family Welfare Department (Allopathy) of the Uttar Pradesh government.
Apart from the Medical Officer Grade-2 vacant positions, the department has also released vacancies for Divisional Publication Officer in the Sugar Industry and Sugarcane Development Department; Regional Tourist Officer in the UP Tourism Directorate; and Regional Prohibition and Social Development Officer under the Social Welfare Department.
Eligibility
Although the educational qualifications for the offered posts have not yet been announced by the administration, the age limit to apply for the post has been outlined. As per the announcement, the minimum age limit of the candidate applying for the Medical Office position is 21 years while the maximum age is 40 years.
Application Fee
The application fee for the candidates belonging to the reserved categories such as Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Disabled candidates is Rs 95. The candidates belonging to the general category will have to pay Rs 125 as application fees.
Selection Process
After the submission of the application, the candidates have to go through four stages including a computer based exam, physical test, medical test and merit list round to be recruited.
