The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has issued the WBPSC SI Exam Schedule on February 22 for the recruitment of sub-inspectors in the Subordinate Food and Supplies Service, Grade-III, under the Food and Supplies Department, Govt. of West Bengal, 2022. Candidates who have applied for the aforementioned post can now visit the official website of the West Bengal Public Service Commission at wbpsc.gov.in and check the detailed schedule.
According to the notification, applicants can download the WBPSC SI admit card 2024 from March 2, 2024 onwards. The WBPSC SI exam will be held on March 16 and 17, 2024 (Saturday and Sunday) in three shifts. The first shift will commence at 9:30 am and run till 11 am, while the second shift will be conducted from 12:30 pm to 2 pm and the third shift will start at 3:30 pm and end at 5 pm. The exam is scheduled to take place at different places in Kolkata and outlying centres.
The official notification reads, “A candidate meant for a particular venue, date and session will, under no circumstances, be allowed to appear in any other venue, date and session. No request in this regard will be entertained.”
WB SI Admit Card 2024: Steps To Download
Step 1: Candidates need to go to the official website of the West Bengal Public Service Commission at wbpsc.gov.in.
Step 2: Click on the link titled, “DOWNLOAD ADMIT-CARD (FOR WRITTEN/ SCREENING TEST)” on the portal’s home page
Step 3: Now, key in the required login details generated at the time of registration and click on the submit button.
Step 4: Once done, the WB SI Admit Card 2024 will be displayed on the screen
Step 5: Cross-check all the details mentioned on the admit card and download it.
Step 6: Print a hard copy of the same for the examination day.
This recruitment drive is being conducted by the West Bengal Public Service Commission to recruit a total of 480 candidates for the post of Sub Inspector.
WBPSC SI 2024: Exam Day Guidelines
–– Candidates must note that entry into the examination venue shall be closed 10 minutes before the scheduled time of commencement of the examination.
–– No applicant will be allowed to enter the examination venue after the closing time.
–– No candidate shall be permitted to take with them the question booklets even after the conclusion of the exam.
–– Applicants are not allowed to use the washroom during the examination, except in emergencies.
–– Candidates are advised not to bring any item except those required for the examination, e.g., an admit card, ID proof, a photograph, etc.
–– Carrying or using mobile phones, smart watches, calculators, portable scanners, Bluetooth devices, gadgets of communication, and clipboards are completely banned inside the premises where the examination is being conducted.
–– Infringement of this instruction will attract penal action, including a ban from future examinations.
All aspirants are advised to wear a mask/face cover and use sanitiser.
