Adil Khan Durrani Says Rakhi Sawant Should ‘Surrender’: ‘She’ll Be Arrested As Soon As…’ | Exclusive

Adil Khan Durrani is certain that his ex-wife, Rakhi Sawant, will be “arrested” as soon as she comes back to India from Dubai for allegedly sharing sexually explicit videos involving him without consent.

Adil claimed that the Supreme Court has dismissed Rakhi’s plea, seeking anticipatory bail to evade possible arrest in the alleged leaked video case. He spoke to News18 Showsha exclusively and said that the apex court has directed Rakhi to surrender before the Mumbai police within four weeks.

“She first applied for an anticipatory bail in a magistrate court, but it was rejected. Later, her plea was dismissed twice in the High Court. They then moved to the Supreme Court but now it has also been rejected and the court has asked her to surrender in four weeks. This happened two days back,” Adil told us.

Rakhi has also filed multiple cases against Adil, accusing him of being involved in “extramarital affairs”. However, Adil has claimed that Rakhi is trying to “frame” him.

“The court isn’t saying that I am not guilty but Rakhi is equally guilty, and therefore, she should surrender,” he added.

Adil further claimed that Rakhi has been “absconding” in Dubai. “She has a warrant against her. She has multiple cases against her. She will be arrested as soon as she lands in India.”

Rakhi Sawant has been booked for offences under Sections 500, 504 and 34, pertaining to defamation and complicity in criminal intent respectively of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) along with Section 67(A) of the Information and Technology Act (IT Act) for electronically disseminating sexually explicit material.

Last year in January, Rakhi had announced her marriage to Adil. However, a few weeks later, she filed a complaint against him, accusing him of domestic violence and torturing her. She also claimed that he cheated on her. Adil was arrested by the Mumbai police in February 2023. He was granted bail after spending five months in jail. Adil is now married to Somi Khan, known for her appearance on ‘Bigg Boss 12.’
