Arsenal to launch 30million pound bid for Milan striker El Shaarawy

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is apparently targeting Italian striker Stephan El Shaarawy for a massive bid of £30million, reports caughtoffside.

After having finalised a deal with Gonzalo Higuain, the Gunners will try to get in El Shaarawy for a massive sum after spending £22million on the Argentine striker amidst speculations of signing Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney.

This season would most probably see the exits of Nicklas Bendtner, Gervinho, Park Chu-Young and Marouane Chamakh and the French manager wants to constitute a top front attack for the seasons ahead.

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has not completely ruled out the Italian striker's move. 'The Pharaoh' as he is labeled by the AC Milan, El Shaarawy has 19 goals and formed an excellent attacking combination with Mario Balotelli.

Wenger, for quite some time now, has been tracking El Shaarawy's progress and incase Rooney's signing somehow falls out of contention, the Milan striker would be a perfect striking partner to Higuain.
