Chelsea were once considered masters of never-say-die, win-at-all-costs.

New Delhi: In terms of goals scored in the final ten minutes of a Premier League game, the Gunners are firing on all cylinders. There are some surprising rankings. Where does your team rank?

It has often been said in the past that a sign of a good team is that they do not know when they are beaten. By the form shown below Arsenal are the greatest at not accepting defeat and battling on to claim maximum points.

Their most recent late goals arrived in their 3-1 victory over Hull City. Daniel Cousin cancelled out Emmanuel Adebayor's opener, but Samir Nasri and Nicklas Bendtner struck in the 82nd and 86th minutes, respectively, to wrap up the win.

Chelsea were once considered the masters of the never-say-die, win-at-all-costs, score at the game's death to nick the win mentality, but are lagging this season in 17th spot. They have scored only four late goals out of 42 scored in the league.

Liverpool started the current campaign with two wins over Sunderland and Middlesbrough, but all three of their goals were scored in the final ten minutes.

On October 5 it appeared Manchester City were about to see out a 2-2 draw with Liverpool but then up stepped Dirk Kuyt to steal all three points in the third minute of extra time!

Since then though the late goals have dried up a tad, and they got a taste of their own medicine on Monday evening when Tim Cahill broke Red hearts by levelling the score and ensuring Everton left Anfield with a point. It was the Toffees' ninth late goal of the season.

Interestingly, local rivals Manchester City and Manchester United are tied on eight late goals each, but City's total goals is grander than their neighbours'.
