London: David Beckham has done it again. During LA Galaxy's 1-1 draw with the Kansas City Wizards on Saturday, Beckham had a minor confrontation with a fan. The fan was wearing an England kit and reportedly had some unkind words for Beckham about his wife Victoria.
"He actually shouldn't be wearing that shirt because what he was saying about my wife is a disgrace but, you know, I've heard it all before. The reaction I've got from Kansas City fans was really good today. It was only from a few section of our own fans which was disappointing and a disgrace to be honest but at the end of the day it's not something I've never had before," Beckham said.
This incident has come just a day after he was fined $1,000 by a soccer league following his confrontation with a fan of his own team in a friendly match in Los Angeles.
Major Soccer League (MLS) fined Beckham after he engaged in a heated argument with a fan of Los Angeles Galaxy last weekend during a friendly match with AC Milan, Contactmusic reported.
Beckham angered some fans of his LA Galaxy team by missing part of the MLS season while on loan to Italian side AC Milan, and was booed during the game.
A section of the crowd were determined to make it clear that they were unhappy at rumours that Beckham is planning to quit the club for good and booed him throughout the game.
A fan even evaded security to taunt Beckham from the side of the pitch prompting the star to run up to the barrier and challenge him.
Beckham had to be restrained by LA Galaxy officials as the fan was removed from the grounds and the star later claimed he simply wanted to shake the man's hand to get him to calm down.
