London: Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney and wife Coleen are livid after details of their earnings were disclosed during a legal fight.

The couple, together worth around 35 million pounds, are entangled in a bitter court battle with sports agency Proactive.

The court documents have revealed that the footballer gets 760,000 pounds every six months for image rights, and besides that he gets 90,000 pounds-a-week Old Trafford salary.

If this wasn’t enough, the 23-year-old also pockets 1million pounds every year from Nike, 118,689.57 pounds twice a year from computer games giant EA.

In fact, he has even made 3.55 million pounds so far from a 12-year, five-book deal.

Wayne’s wife and former supermarket checkout girl Coleen, has earned 283,334 pounds for an eight-book deal.

The 22-year-old also rakes in a whopping 41,667 pounds a month for her column in OK!, 13,000 pounds for each of the 10 episodes of her ‘Coleen’s Real Women’ TV show and 5,000 pounds per month for her column in Closer.

The papers filed at a Leeds court also laid bare expenses on the couple’s wedding, which included 18,933.97 pounds for Wayne’s stag week in Ibiza and 2,622 pounds for a first class return flight to New York for Coleen’s assistant to collect designer jewellery.

Proactive claims the couple owed them two months’ commission and also Wayne owes nearly 19,000 pounds for using its credit card to cover stag weekend bills.

Meanwhile a spokesman confirmed that a writ was served in the court.

"We tried to resolve this and it’s regrettable we had to take this course of action," The Mirror quoted him as saying.

A spokesman for the Rooneys said: "Wayne and Coleen are angry that this has gone to court."

Since 2002, Wayne was Proactive’s client and even Coleen is on their books, and the couple has reportedly held back payments after pal Paul Stretford left the firm.
