Drogba seems to be the first victim of Sunday's 0-3 loss to Manchester United.

New Delhi: The questions over Didier Drogba's future at Chelsea have become even more pronounced after he once again did not even make the squad list for their Premier League fixture against Stoke City this weekend.

Drogba appears to be the first victim of Luiz Felipe Scolari's shake-up following Sunday's 0-3 defeat at the hands of Premier League rivals Manchester United as he has been reduced to a cheerleader's role for the second match in succession, after having already been omitted from the FA Cup trip to Southend United in midweek.

The Ivorian striker had been expected to get a chance to improve on his shambolic display at Old Trafford against Stoke City. However, after his second successive omission from Scolari's squad sheet, and he has reportedly even been told that he need not bother showing up at Stamford Bridge for Saturday's game.

Big Phil recently insisted that Drogba is neither in his bad-book nor being used as a scapegoat, but the old saying that actions speak louder than words would appear to be especially relevant in this case.

Drogba has been heavily tipped to leave West London after a number of unsavoury incidents over the past few months, and this continuing uncertainty over his place in the first team could seal the deal.

The 30-year-old has attracted plenty of interest from abroad, with AC Milan and Inter both regularly linked, while Olympique Marseille have enquired about bringing back their former star on loan.
