Manchester: Manchester United fans can expect a quiet final few weeks of the summer after manager Sir Alex Ferguson admitted he was happy with his signings so far and is not looking to add any more.
The Scot has brought Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea, Blackbun defender Phil Jones and Aston Villa winger Ashley Young to Old Trafford, but has also been linked with a central midfielder after the retirement of Paul Scholes.
"We lost five players in their 30s this summer," Ferguson told reporters during his team's tour of North America.
"That helped finance the three younger players - Ashley Young, Phil Jones and David de Gea - I have brought to the club.”
He added: "At this moment, I can't see another addition. The type of player we might have been looking for is not available.
"I am happy with the players I have got at this moment in time."
The first test of the new look United will come on August 7 with the Community Shield against rivals Manchester City, and Ferguson admitted it wll be an "interesting" game.
"It is not a normal Community Shield for Manchester United," he added.
"It is addressing our noisy neighbours again. It will be an interesting match."
